The YE0280 is used for the analysis of 'texture loss', which is the loss of low contrast, fine details in images due to noise reduction or other image processing techniques.
According to ISO19567 a low contrast sinusoidal Siemens star can be used to determine texture loss.
The chart is surrounded by 16 gray patches which are used for linearization of the image.
The chart has a size of 29.0 cm in width and 26.9 cm in height. The diameter of the star is 25 cm. Each gray patch has a size of 2x2 cm.
